About

Tommy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master of Science in Accounting degrees from Oklahoma City University and is passionate about Ancestry and History.

My wife and I bought my childhood dream house and her dream house here in El Reno on August 14, 2015!!! Hard to believe it has been eight years that we have lived here now. I pinch myself every day. The home is a two-story colonial with balcony and three columns. The home was built sometime between July 1908 and Spring 1909. We are beyond excited to own this amazing historic home!!! We live on what was the original route of 66 highway through town.

Grew up in El Reno, Oklahoma and studied in Oklahoma City. I have lived in El Reno, Oklahoma City and Yukon Oklahoma before we settled in August 2015 back to El Reno from Yukon. I love books, old houses, and whiskey.

Amy S.Neathery

About

Although she grew up in the Dallas area, Amy quickly fell in love with El Reno and could not be happier to call it home. She is very active in the community and Wesley United Methodist Church, which sits less than a block from their home.

When Amy and Tommy were dating and first married, they spent every Friday night eating Mexican food in El Reno and driving around looking at old houses, including faithfully checking on 315 E. Wade. Over the years, it was on and off the market, but the price seemed out of reach. One night, Amy teased that if the price ever dropped below a particular threshold, they would need to buy the house. A couple of years later, the remark became reality, and, as they say, “the rest is history.”

Amy loves working on the house and ensuring that she and Tommy are good stewards of their historic home. She appreciates hearing the history Tommy uncovers and helps showcase that history for the home’s visitors. As her own mark on the home, Amy greatly expanded the garden areas and works to ensure year-round blooms for those passing by to enjoy.

Since living in the house, 315 E Wade has gained some notoriety for its Christmas decorations. A featured spot on several holiday home tours, Amy completely transforms the home into a winter wonderland with fully decorated trees in every room and hallway and decorations everywhere the eye turns. On her social media profile, Amy lists her job as “attorney/starfish thrower.” Amy loves being a civil litigation attorney and being in court presenting cases on behalf of her clients. She believes she was called to be a lawyer, and her clients love her ability to vigorously advocate and make sure they are comfortable with the process. Amy has also found a profound calling for service. She spends countless hours volunteering in the community and serving on several non-profit boards, sits on El Reno City Council, and serves on a state board for the Methodist Conference. Amy works particularly hard on programs that provide food and books to El Reno children.
